The research on the film black african in this article uses the concepts of strategy and tactics, as discussed by Michel de Certeau .
The hypothesis is that the cinemas of the black africans are infiltrating the structures of strategic cinemas dominant, thus opening new avenues of analysis. A historical overview of the images and discourses on Africa shows how does the appropriation and re-appropriation of the image of Blacks by Blacks themselves. The description of two cinematic sequences illustrates the operation of the re-appropriation through the diversion heavily politicised.
